Tuberose, a bewitching flower with a multiple, difficult temperament that must be tamed. A highly
narcotic white flower, it has both a medicinal and a lactonic coconut flavour.
We sought out the flower's spicy, peppery and pungent notes to counteract this medicinal aspect.
To accentuate the lactonic aspect, we added woody notes of cedar, sandalwood and patchouli.
We reinforced its characterful tendency with spicy notes of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, black
pepper and Sichuan pepper. We've intensified its tuberous florality with jasmine and violet
absolute. Tuberose is a chiaroscuro chypre, with a fresh, spicy opening and a darker plane of
moss and patchouli.
It's an intensely rich composition, a flower with personality that needs to be decked out in its best
finery.
